Integrated Materials Solutions (IMS) We offer waste disposal and recovery solutions for a wide range of industries on the island of Ireland. Our own EPA licensed facility, located in Naul North Dublin, can accept a wide range of C&D wastes from Greenfield sites and contaminated Brownfield sites. Waste streams range from concrete and tiles to contaminated soils. Japanese Knotweed is an invasive species and is extremely resilient and a threat to infrastructure and the natural environment alike. The only option to ensure the plant is completely removed from an infected area is controlled excavation and offsite disposal. IMS have recently got approval to accept soils contaminated with Japanese Knotweed Rhizomes. We are currently designing lined cells for the deep burial of the soils to prevent the further regrowth or spread of the Knotweed.
