The sea food is at it's best with reasonable price and quite decent ambience with a touch of goa in food as well as the restaurant. The taste is authentically goan and the staff doesn't compromise on both quantity as well as quality. Nav Gomantak is one of a kind restaurant. Attached pictures are the dishes I had over there and I loved it completely.

Hello So we reached one of the best sea food restaurant in our Thane. Here we had some mouthwatering dishes like Paneer Koliwada, Surmai Thali, Bharlela Pomfret, Chicken Xacuti & many more. Ambience here you will see is directly copying the goan culture. We were totally amazed after watching having the first bite of seafood. Nav Gomantak is placed at prime location, however expect no vallet here. The ambience is moderate, expect a cooking stink around. The place follows covid norms well. Food is great with a brief maharastrian style non vegetarian cuisine and a very few vegetarian options only being on the menu. Expect a mix when it comes to freshness of seafood served. Cutlery here is cheap and below average, matches a low grade dhaba. Ask for a crab cutter, they dont serve along. Overall this place is a miss on expectation ideal for a heavy lunch hangout not for an occasion.
This place is well known for it's malvani and govan food, this outlet is thane based. Management was really good, quick service were provide, owner was cooperative The ambience is traditional govan and malvan type,love the silent govan traditional song playing in background. Talking about the food we had 1. MOCKTEL DRINKS : We had order mango mojito and guava merry, they have the best thick shake no artifical flavour, mocktel was refreshing. 2. NON-VEG SHURUVAT : Kheema pattice- Highly recommended starter, must try onces if ur visiting this outlet, Kheema stuffing was juicy and spicy Bharlele Pomfret (Prawns) - One of the special and best dish of chief, Fry masala Pomfret stuff with prawns Kheema,Pomfret was well cooked, Huge in size. 3. MAIN COURSE - Surmai Curry Thali : The size of surmai fry was more then 1 feet, Thali will be sufficient for two people serve with Bhakri /Chapati, Surmai curry,Dry fish(sukkat) chutiya, coconut chutiya, soulkadi. Chicken Masala Thali : Sukha chicken was having taste of old traditional govan flavour which was really tempting, served with chicken curry, Bhakri /Chapati, Coconut chutiya, soulkadi. 4. DESSERT - Rattalya chi Kheer (Sweet Potato Kheer) - If your the one who don't like sweet potato.. Then you will definitely change ur veiw after having this kheer... Kheer was tasty not so sweet balanced flavour, we enjoyed every bit of it. Gulab Jamun - This were the best one to have.. Gulab jamun were smooth tempting. Shoutout to our attendant Ashish, who helped us by providing the perfect suggestions for our palette. Here's what we ordered: 1. Kothambir wadi - 10 pieces of spicy and crispy Kothambir wadi. Pair it with the green chutney and you're good to go. An absolute classic dish! 185/- 2. Chicken fry masala - beautiful blend of coconut, onion and spices forming a thick masala. This starter is packed with flavour and you get to know of it in the very first bite! [ SOT Favourites! ] 285/- 3. Pomfret Recheado - The pomfret is filled with the authentic Goan Recheado masala (red in colour) The fish was so tender and soft and simply melts in the mouth. It was well cooked with the masala enhancing the flavour. 375/- 4. Chicken Sukkha Thali - You can't leave Nav Gomantak without trying one of their Thalis. The chicken sukka thali comes with a thick chicken main course and chicken rassa which complements the rice well. Every thali contains chapati/vade, rice and solkadi. The pink chutney which is a blend of coconut and kokum is definitely addictive! 335/- 5. Mix Vegetable Xacuti - Nav Gomantak indeed captures the authenticity of this Goan masala. It was a medium spicy thick gravy with a variety of vegetables which was a welcome change from the non vegetarian dishes. 215/- 6. Kharvas - So when we had the first bite, we didn't think of it as something that great, but the taste definitely grows on you! The speciality of it is that it is made with jaggery which enhances the flavour of the dish and this ended up being one of our favourite dishes here. Loved the taste, hygiene standards and Hospitality of this place! I ordered the prawns thali, chicken Sukkha Thali, bombil rava fry, gulacha Kharvas and Mojito here. I loved the prawns thali the most! You definitely have to visit this place if you are a seafood lover

NAV GOMANTAK -Simply a paradise for all sea food lovers..... Located in thane this place serves perfect Goan food for all the sea food lovers... The Ambience is perfect and makes it perfect to go with the food. We ordered some of their best dishes and we were just mesmerized by it. . Mocktails:- 1.French Kiss 2.Garden Cooler 3.Guava Merry Amongst all Guava Merry standed out and was just awesome. Must Try.. STARTERS 1.Surmai Tawa Fry - Was perfectly cooked and marinated.The green chutney just made it much awesome and being their speciality this dish was best to start off. 2.KHEEMA PATTICE- Though essentially a seafood restaurant, the mutton dish was awesome. Must try.. 3.PANEER KOLIWADA- Soft and juicy...Good to go for all the vegetarians out there. CHICKEN MASALA THALI- Simple yet classic. More than enough for two peoples. Solkadi just adds more to the perfection. BHARLELE POMPHRET THALI- Cannot be described, no review can judge this dish a musttt try for all..Pomphret was well marinated and taste was just deliciously awesomeeee..In this busy world where time is ones most valuable asset! and they served such good thali within time...
