I decided to turn my passion for photography into a full-time profession in 2019. Nihar Rangoonwala The People's Photographer is all about emotive photography of human beings--the people, and their life's moments, capturing the essence of their relationships with their loved ones on my camera. It is cliche to say but I create memories. Hi, I am Nihar Rangoonwala. Nihar Rangoonwala The People's Photographer, as an organisation/identity, is an outcome of living a passion. As a kid, I used to fancy those film SLRs cameras back in the early 1990's. But I had bought my first camera in 2007 which as a DSLR. My real journey in photography started off in 2013 and over a couple of years after that, I developed my liking for photographing kids. Over the course of these years, I took up courses, workshops, and online tutorials to develop the right skill set and I kept investing in my gears as well. Then there came a dilemma to choose between a stable career in sales or photography. I chose to live my dream. I really believe that any start-up organisation must have its values defined so they can be imbibed as it grows. And, so Nihar Rangoonwala The People's Photographer has its fundamental values as below. 1. Empathy - Feel for others. 2. Fair Pay and Credits to Project Collaborators. 3. Equality & Secular. 4. Honesty & Transparency While dealing with People. 5. No Piracy. Use only licensed programs, music, etc. 6. Respect Everyone. 7. Honour your commitments. 8. Take risks and experiment for creativity. 9. Deattach from the past work. 10. Keep shooting more. I design photoshoot as an experience for my clients. I do involve some fun and crazy activities to evoke emotions and feelings in them. That is why my work is emotive. That is the best I can do for me and my clients.
