Prabhugiri patnam is the vishnava site. The art and archetechure of the temple inscription reveals Vijayanagara. The puranic scenes Govardhana giri. Krishna vastra apaharana scenes, and also mentions that yielded late Vijayanagara painting south east side of the temple. The temple consists hanging lotus buds , yoga posture. This temple consists three pasts mainly garbhagruha, where erected vishnava idol, ardha mandapa and kalyana mandapa. It is flat roofed temple faces south. It is one of the karapatram in Kanuparthi jurisdiction. It is also river bed of Penna. Here there are number of inscriptions represents Vijayanagara period. it is away from 47 .k.m from north-west of Nellore. It might have been brisk trading existing due to Penna river.
