Bayz Patisserie is such a hidden gem in Nelson Bay! I stumbled upon it after finding the surrounding restaurants closed, as I visited during an odd time between lunch and dinner. I purchased a classic beef pie, and it was the best pie I've ever had! The pastry was golden and flaky, and the beef filling was generous and so tasty. I'll be back!

Greeted with ‘one of you need to wait outside’ instead of ‘hi guys, can one of you please wait outside’. I know customers can be hard to deal with sometimes, but judgement happens in the first 10 seconds. I just wanted to show the kids which yummy treat they would have liked, shame this one staff member has no customer relations. A review response below indicated ‘hard to get staff’, it’s also hard, if not harder to maintain a good reputation. All your hard work, only to be ruined by one disgruntled staff member. As a owner of a business myself I’d take this feedback seriously.
Amazing value for money. 7.90 for a bacon and egg roll and coffee. Food was great coffee was amazing and staff friendly. Got breakfast for 4 for 32 cheaper than Macca's

We had tasty chicken schnitzel rolls with salad and chopped chilli. They also serve a range of pies, pasties & sausage rolls, and fruit pies for something sweet to follow.
