I attended Tomaree Hospital at 8.30am this morning with a very sore right wrist. Was seen immediately by a very pleasant young lady at reception as there was a fire drill on there at this time we were assured we would be seen as soon as it was over. In no time I was seen by the triage nurse who arranged an X-ray which was done immediately. The young doctor saw me (who I must say we are fortunate to have) informed I had broken it & put it in a cast, we were home by 10.30 am. Thank you to all concerned you are wonderful.

I was so impressed with the Triage nurse doing the daytime shift in Emergency on the 30th Sept 2020. I was in a bit of discomfort and she was very kind and caring not just to me but all the other patients.Even though she was run off her feet,she took the time to get me something to eat when she noticed I was fading.A real credit to nursing.
Spent three weeks in Tomaree before being admitted to a private rehab hospital. Very grateful for the excellent nursing care in Tomaree. Had the best advice from the physiotherapist, OT and Social Worker. Catering staff were kind and helpful. Very positive experience in a stressful time in my life.
Do yourself the biggest favour and drive the hour to John Hunter hospital! IT IS NOT WORTH the risk going here!!! All these renovations and still ran so poorly!!
Husband spent 4 days at Tomaree Community Hospital, with an unknown sudden illness. Cannot speak highly enough of his experience there, it was first class. We are both very grateful for the excellent care given to him & appreciate all of the wonderful staff that cared for him.
