My son has multiple food allergies and when I mentioned at ordering our food, the lady that served us got the chef to come and speak to us. He was super friendly and helpful about it, told us how he was going to cook the food separately. One of the best service we have experienced. My son loved his stake and chips with veggies! Thank you!

When it comes to a night on the punt this place has provided the best yet. Between the Mrs and I there was 5 majors in one night. The club is a sea of bricky’s laptops but the drinks are cold and food is good. All round it’s a great club to go!
Wow lucky we arrived early as the Bay Brasserie was really getting busy, oyster and wine to start and yes they were fresh local oysters from Port Stephens mmmm.
Food was yummy and tables as spaced well. Everyone has to join as a member to gain entry but if you pay 2 per person for the social entry then you do not get a discount on the food so probably better to get a higher level of membership as its 10% off the food. It would have been nice to know when we joined and paid but we will know for next time.
Through enjoyed our visit to West’s. We had dinner upstairs at the restaurant. I ordered steak with a pepper type sauce, which was unfortunately very foul tasting, and it was put on top of everything so I didn’t enjoy that much, however my partner ordered the Hawaiian pizza which was delicious. Downstairs there were plenty of areas to sit and have a few drinks. Definitely recommend visiting.
Facilities and staff were great until we nearly finished our meals in the brasserie. The chicken breast supreme with salad had an extra ingredient that wasn’t ordered nor part of the menu. The dish was taken back to the register and the large black bug was pointed out to staff. Their response was...”but we wash our salad”. No apology to our diner who was physical ill after realizing she nearly ingested an insect. Not interested in refund just an apology, but got neither. Not coming back!
The vibes are great in the restaurant but not as you enter. The security was a good guy but the procedures could be more efficient. As everyone else has says the 2 “social member” is unnecessary and the sign up process is long compared to other RSLs I have been to. The food is good and servings are good for value.
Bistro can not handle busy times. Two cold meals out 3 orders. Better at the Bowling or Golf clubs
