We stayed at Unit 38, number 2 Gowrie Street, Nelson Bay for a fee of 1729 for 3 nights. Awesome location and that is all I can say! I knew I wasn't getting 5 star, BUT definitely did not expect the following (photos attached) 1. Kitchen floor was not mopped prior to our stay - stains infront of the kitchen cupboards at entry of the kitchen. 2. Underneath the breakfast bar - prior occupants had spilt something, not cleaned prior to our stay 3. Dead Cockroach near the sliding door 4. Cockroach bate in the kitchen cupboard near the plates...yuk! 5. Cockroach bate in the master bedroom wardrobe 6. ENSUITE TOILET - the seat did not fit the bowl, not even sure how the owners thought this was acceptable(?)!!!!! NOT SURE HOW WINNING HOLIDAYS THOUGHT THIS WAS ACCEPTABLE!!!!

Had a great stay with Winnings. Apartment was fantastic!! It was comfortable, fully equipped and tastefully decorated. Only downside was having the cleaners arrive as we were checking in so the apartment wasn't as thoroughly cleaned as it should have been. Staff were friendly, key pick up was easy and they were very responsive to any queries I had during the booking process.

Twice they would only provide vouchers and not refunds when the house booked was unavailable---first time due to Covid and after rebooking the same house was taken off the rental market. Only after our threatening legal action from us did they refund our money. Strange that the house is now back for rental but at a much higher price than we were paying when cancelled.. Their reply is misleading as were at the house Easter 2017,2018 and 2019, each time in my name--. They also have the brands ALLOGGIO and AGILE SITES.

The place we stayed in had mould in the shower, bathroom, and vanity. There was roach poo in the kitchen cupboards. There were spiderwebs through the curtains and furniture. We saw in the feedback for the place that someone had also given it a 1 star rating the previous month. They obviously knew about the issues and hadn't fixed it. This is for an apartment that was 300 per night, not a dodgy caravan park unit. My guess is that they can't tell the difference. We had to email them a couple of times before they responded. They did offer to send a cleaner to clean the place, but who wants a cleaner in their apartment for a couple of hours in the middle of their weekend getaway. They thought we were unreasonable for complaining and not taking them up on their offer. We just thought it was unreasonable to charge for a feral apartment.

I had booked through Airbnb and realised it was through a booking agency so I googled reviews and was concerned after reading all the negative reviews that I tripled check with winning holidays days before my stay via the email and phone. All times they were very responsive, confirming my booking along with confirming that towels and linen to be provided. The time I rang mikalya was super lovely on the phone. The place we rented was everything it said it was on the listing. Beautiful views and a lovely home that accommodated my family.

Avoid this company by any means - they are terrible and lack customer care. Be aware that the photos are misleading, what we found in the airbnb was very different. I also asked for late checkout and despite nobody coming into the property they wanted to charge me extra. The kitchen didn't have a dish cloth or sponge and kitchen towel. The water pressure in bathroom shower was awful, barely could have a shower. Also I forgot my frying pan in the property and I offered to pay for postage to be returned. They never cared to send it back - they lied to me they ask the cleaners to check. Of course they didn't do it. It's been 2 months and they did not bother at all. This company is only after your money, customer care and service do not exist. Book directly with people who really care. Avoid being disapointed!

Amazing this was the best stay I’ve had at Nelson Bay. The view from our accomodation was spectacular for half the price tag. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and all essentials were provided. Thank you for a great holiday and will be staying here every time.
