Snow (even small amounts) means that they won't bother to attempt to empty your bins. Then for some reason they would rather lie to you and tell you that they have now been emptied, rather than just tell the truth and say that it'll take days for them to clear the backlog. It seems you have to submit a complaint just to get a honest answer.

It's quite clear that the only way to improve services in this council is not to vote Tory next time. They've become complacent because they believe they'll be voted back in time after time. So wake up my friends & vote Labour.
Although the website is useless and it took me 20 minutes to get to speak to someone, once I got through Aiden was polite and very helpful in resolving my issue. It just goes to show not everyone working at Pendle Borough Council is unhelpful like the other reviews suggest. I only gave it 4 star due to the website otherwise Aiden deserves 5 stars for his customer service.
