Two daughters attend swimming lessons at Nepean Aquatic Centre. Both of them love it. They are improving each week, as the teachers are fantastic. All staff are very friendly. Facilities are clean and suitable for young children. Centre is also COVID safe, with hand sanitizer at the entrance and social distancing markings placed on seating.

We initially had no issues with NAC. Our family has been swimming there for a few years. Our issues started when the pandemic hit and NAC suspended our payment contract and lessons. As our circumstances changed in the few months the centre was shut, we requested to use the 4 remaining swimming lessons we’d already paid for. We were told we couldn’t do that, we had to pay for more lessons to use the ones we’d already paid for. When I then requested a refund, I was told they won’t do that either. Was told that they spoke to fair trading and that this was a “fair option”. It’s a load of BS. I will be lodging a complaint through the ACCC.
