I have been a glasses wearer for 25 years and contact wearer for 15 (I know what feels normal for my eyes). I needed an updated prescription to re-order contacts and thought I’d try Bayshore optometric. I got my new contacts and called the clinic that same week to say they felt blurry and dry, they told me to “try them out for a while and let my eyes adjust” because I write for a living I couldn’t wear them to work so I wore them on weekends to try and break them in. When I called back about a month later I said they were still blurry and very dry so I’d like to come in for my follow up. The receptionist informed me that I “waited too long” and would have to pay full price for another appointment. I mentioned that I had complained a week after purchase and wasn’t given a time limit to test them out therefore I didn’t think I should have to pay for a new appointment. In response the receptionist got very agitated and raised her voice. I called back a couple times hoping to get a different response since I already spent money on my initial appointment and roughly 300 on 6 months of contacts I couldn’t wear. They were adamant about the prescription being correct and insisted that I would have to pay for a new appointment since they didn’t think anything was actually wrong. I ended up going somewhere else and ordering a different brand of contacts with the same prescription and they work perfectly. The product choice was poor and the service I received was absolutely horrible. Complete waste of 400. I will not be going back and would not recommend.

This was my first time visiting and everyone was really nice and the appointment went smooth and was quick. Seemed like they were wiping everything down for Covid and was practicing safe distances when possible. My eye doctor was Dr. Sandhu and she was super nice and easy to talk to.
Great place! Very friendly and take good care of me!
New location does not provide a waiting/seating area in the optometrist area. I showed up 5 minutes early to my 4:40pm appointment. After standing until 5pm I asked if it would be much longer and the response was 10 more minutes. If you’re running 30 minutes behind schedule common curtesy would be to let your customer know when they arrive. Apart from the wait, you increased your eye exam price from 100 to 150. My insurance company made a comment of your price being unreasonable as one professional to another.
I had a walk in eye exam at this eye clinic, something I wasn't sure was even possible during covid. The reception staff were great, super friendly and inviting. They were also diligent in cleaning and sanitizing everything, which made me feel very safe. What made me feel even better was how they explained every test, like the machine to test for glaucoma, and the even cooler optos machine that took a picture of the inside of my eye. I've never had that done before, and it blew my mind! The Doctor that I saw was very thorough, and I was able to order my glasses the same day through LensCrafters. I really could not have asked for a better experience, and will be bringing my whole family to this clinic going forward.
