The warmth of the day brought my friend and I out for a socially distanced walk through this semi-civilized river walk. The leaves have gone from the trees though, and the noise and view of the traffic rushing along the adjacent Prince of Wales Drive took some of the magic out of the sylvan splendor. Or is that splendour? How American are we today?

Nice trail. Well-maintained by the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority. There are outhouses at the trailhead. Beautiful spot for a walk on a sunny day. Lots of wildlife. Much of the trail is very close to Prince of Wales Drive, so you're never very far from the street noise.

Pleasant walk beside Rideau river. Easy access to parking lot from Prince of Wales Drive.

This is a really nice trail, not difficult at all to walk. The river views are akso grand.

Cute board walk- a lot of people fishing. Can be crowded fast. Good for pictures and watching people boating on the river. Beautiful walk with your friends or dogs (on leash). The boardwalk is Right next to the main busy road which takes away from the beauty a bit so only giving it 3 stars. Free Parking available.
