I recently purchased sunglasses from Nepean Optometric, and had the best experience! In these COVID times, I was greeted by a very friendly associate who asked me all the screening questions. Lynda helped me select a frame that suited my face shape and looked good on me - I really appreciated this input as I find this is the hardest thing about picking glasses - to get a frame that really suits your face. She was helpful and encouraged me to try even more options that I initially selected to ensure I had a solid short list to select from. Now that I have my glasses, I'm really happy with the selection and the quality, and would easily recommend the clinic to others who need glasses!

Nepean Optometric met and exceeded my expectations in their reopening protocols and procedures following the covid closures. Their processes made me feel that all precautions are being taken to keep both staff and patients safe. I was required to complete a covid questionnaire before entering. The number of people in the clinic is limited to only those necessary. Staff and patients are all required to wear masks. People have ample room to distance, except when the Doctor or technicians are hands on for a service, and then the masks and sanitization of hands, equipment and spaces is mandatory. All spaces and equipment are sanitized with each use. I had a normal eye exam and some tests related to pre existing conditions, selected new frames, and completed my visit at the front desk to settle my bill and book for next year. Without exception the staff were caring and professional, the facility spotless and well sanitized, the experience stress free.
Wrong prescription! Doctor Hamilton prescribed glasses to my son. Eyes exam was done without care. When glasses were done EXACTLY according the doctor Hamilton ‘s prescription it was not possible to use them- eyes pain, headaches. We came back to the clinic. Lady suggests to my son just use that glasses 2 weeks to give time for adjustment. Nobody offered us the second opinion exam! We made it in ANOTHER CLINIC. My son got NEW prescription. Glasses made according new prescription are GOOD! And don’t need any time for “brain adjustment “. When I asked to return money I paid for wrong exam, doctor Hamilton said he will not do this. And he is happy somebody helped my son! Resume: could you believe your exam will be done correctly?
Went for my 3 year old daughter and was extremely impressed with the entire experience. The doctor was very professional and patient. Building was beautiful and inviting.
