Tom and his team did a great job on our basement. They started from ground zero as our basement was unfinished, and the whole journey with Tom's team was very smooth and pleasant. Communication was very effective - Tom made sure we were happy with every step along the way, and every end of day clean-up as well as the end of project clean-up was impressive. It was almost 8 weeks long project as we had many custom requests like fire place, sauna, built-in closets, etc., and throughout the whole project, Tom and his team was accommodating, knowledgeable and professional. The final outcome turned out to be a lot better than I expected, and we truly appreciate Tom and his team for that. Once the project was done, once again, Tom went through all the details with us, and provided us with timely touch-ups whenever we requested. Thanks to TAG, the project was done right before the pandemic, and me & my wife are pleasantly working from home with extra spaces. Overall, I would highly recommend them for home renovations.

I hired TAG to help me complete an entire renovation of my first investment property. To start Tom worked with me over several months to help put together the best plan and budget that helped meet my goals.After this was completed he took a deposit which was one of the biggest differences between him and other contractors. Once we began the job there were a few obstacles that came up and he presented various options that ranged to help solve them. One thing I can say is he was HONEST throughout this process. Once we overcame these obstacles the rest of the project was completed smoothly. My job included the following work from Tom. Finishing the basement. Redoing 2 bathrooms and adding a 3rd new bathroom. Installing new laminate flooring and finishing the existing hardwood. Installing kitchen backslash. Updating electrical in the entire house. New stairs. New carpet on all my stairs. Removal of wall. Replacing doors in the house. This included most of the major work he did. Areas of improvement: Tom’s painting subcontractor didn't do a great job, however Tom’s crew came back and fixed it. The after job clean up was a little slow but was eventually completed. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the work TAG completed. Tom delivered a finished product that exceeded me expectation within the agreed upon time frame. I have put some photos below. Please note I was working with a professional designer to complete the renovation which was extremely helpful and was well worth it.
My husband and I hired The Anything Guys for a multi-tiered renovation project. We had recently gotten rid of our above-ground pool in the back yard and wanted to install a new deck or a flagstone patio. We also wanted our old deck to be re-stained as well as have the earth by the side of our home angled away to help with a minor, seasonal flooding issue. Tom and his team worked with us to decide on the best approach for our budget and for the space itself. We were very impressed that Tom never tried to push us into a really expensive option or try to add on unnecessary work. Quite the opposite. He was very down to earth and although he laid out all of the possibilities, he advised us that some of the more expensive ones were probably not worth the extra money given our goals and that we would probably be just as happy with a mid-range estimate plans. He also took the time to explain all of the subsequent work and costs that each option would bring us in the future. (in terms of upkeep) The team was also very professional and were very considerate of our tenants and their safety during covid. My tenants had nothing but good things to say about them. The quality of their work is excellent and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. There were also some adjustments and add-ons that we wanted to make along the way and the team was very accommodating and quick to adapt. The work was finished in great time and was extremely well done. We will definitely be working with them again in the future and would have no problems recommending them to our friends. Great experience with TAG and would highly recommend! We interviewed many contractors for our fairly large house Reno and decided to go with TAG and are very impressed with the end result. They offered a reasonable cost for the project and came in very close to budget (a few change orders occurred which are to be expected). The team is friendly and respectful. We also had them come back and do some additional work and would definitely hire them again in the future. They also commit to their projects, coming back as necessary to make sure everything is as expected. Even during the pandemic Tom and his team maintained communication and transparency.
Tom and the AnyThingGuys team were very professional and worked hard in getting our rear yard regraded and resodded and the Cedar Shake siding replaced with composite style siding. They were very easy to work with and Tom was always available if a question was brought up. They also handled an upgrade to the side yard with interlock within a few days. We highly recommend The AnyThingGuys for any work that is needed. We will be using them again in the spring to build a deck in the back yard as well as some other items we will come up with. we look forward to working with you next year.
We hired TAG for a large renovation project on our 4 unit apartment in the Glebe. The scope of work involved major structural framing, creating livable space in the attic in order to create a 3rd floor, framing for two basement apartments and main floor bulk heads and partition walls to create some new rooms. We've hired TAG in the past for some decks, a fence and landscaping. Tom continues to do an exceptional job staffing his company with professional, highly skilled, clean, and courteous employees. Tom demonstrated knowledge, integrity, and fairness. He is not only affordable, but enjoyable to work with too.
TAG did an excellent job transforming our backyard into an amazing outdoor living space. We hired their team to replace our cedar fence, design and install interlock for most of our yard, and create custom stairs. Given the exceptional circumstances of this year with COVID-19, Tom was great to deal with and was still able to complete the work on time. Pricing was reasonable and Tom and the TAG teams were great to deal with. We would certainly recommend TAG for landscaping projects. Jen and Rik
Clint was very professional in his caulking/painting and refinishing our garage door/frame, as well as sealing our garage floor. He kept us informed at every step and completed the project as scheduled in time for winter use. Looking forward to having additional exterior work done in 2021.
