Gets 2 stars because the staff was friendly. Was told this location has cheaper prices than in the city, however prices are hundreds of dollars more than in town Ottawa. Found this out after spending money on a cab and paying 120 for a checkup appointment. Was told I can get help with payments but was declined even though my credit is good. Was not told ahead of time that I will need to pay an additional 150 for blood work. Very expensive and I just want to get my dogs issue resolved but I can’t afford these prices. Pretty upset.

I brought my 2 year old Syrian hamster here because she had pyometra and needed some meds. When the meds didn't help, they took her in to put her to sleep so she wouldn't suffer anymore. At no point did I think they didn't feel for our family and the vet discussed all of our options with us as well. All the staff were kind and sympathetic, and made us feel supported and welcomed. They called after the intial appointment to check up on our hamster, and treated her with care when returning the final time. I will never go anywhere else with my small animals from now on. The most affordable prices for small animals in town plus staff who understand what your pet means to your family, what's not to love? Thank you to all the staff at VCA Bell's Corners, your kindness made a hard decision much easier to bear.

They don't care if you book in advance. They don't care about your animals. Especially if you don't agree to wear a mask. so if my dog NEEDS a shot he can't get it unless I put an untested mask on filled with ungodly chemicals? What a joke they should arrested especially if you have an exemption. #supportlocal
