Absolute woeful service and the manager / owner is on the same regard. Wasted my whole day coming / travelling down to be told the complete opposite thing on the phone. Go elsewhere I wouldn’t even bother, wasting my time with a review but no worries.
After using Avis for many years I’m taking business elsewhere. I had used Avis at other locations this same month with no issues. Then suddenly at Nerang: Poor service and wouldn't allow me to pickup a car because my home bills had po box number only. Dont ever use AVIS as other car hire companies don’t refuse to supply cars for this! Then Avis decided to tell two totally different excuses /stories - 1) it was for covid reasons (i checked with qps and qld govt that this wasn’t the case) 2) it was for insurance reasons when no one else requires this. (I confirmed this wasn’t the case with the relevant parties etc )
Hired a car for 2 days. Quoted 62 per day. The car was horrible Corolla sedan. Hard to steer and aged. I have just notice 342 pending to come out of my account! I filled it full of fuel. No happy I know this is going to take chasing and waiting to get my money back.

Nice and easy to deal with for a last minute rental. Good location close to highway. Cars, trucks and busses are all located here. Their website was easy to use.
