The best little Rural Fire Brigade on the Gold Coast in my mind. So much history from back in the day when it was a collection of real farmers banding together. Today, we have the massive change and encroachment of the IZone, suburbia and no or very very little reticulated water. Lots of bush still, hobby farms, large residential lots on big hills and the need for a great team in the RFS is even more essential, given the roads and the tolls the road takes. Thanks to all the volunteers who continue to help keep us all safe and respond to our emergencies...oh and keep an eye out for Blazer Bear each year for our Open Day!
