I have been a client of Hinterland Motorcycles for almost 6 years and during that time, the now owner Glen (and Robyn) have provided me with absolutely wonderful service first as the mechanic who worked on my bike and now as mechanic and owner. Nothing is too much trouble. The second mechanic Colin rounds up a team that provides bike owners with many years of mechanical expertise. The excellent service was exemplified recently when the SYM dealer from whom they purchased parts sent the incorrect ones.. Not to be deterred, Jay, who with Robyn runs the office, immediately took the issue up with the dealer and when the correct parts arrived, in order to compensate me for all the stuffing around, Glen installed the correct ones without charge. This was also after he had, on a Sunday afternoon, picked my bike up from my home after my clutch had decided to destroy itself in order to check that it was not the new drive belt that had been previously been installed. I can't recommend this business and the family who run it highly enough. They are examples for the trade and the personal attention received is in marked contrast to that of the bigger bike dealers where you seldom get to talk to the person who actually fixes your bike.

Wanted a simple tyre swap on rim which was off the bike already would usually do it my self but had no time on this occasion easy job for a shop with the facilities was happy to pay any fee required as I was pressed for time if I was told they were to busy I’d understand but I was told they don’t fit other people’s tyres which I do understand to an extent but To turn away any paying customer I don’t Kawasaki had already told me they would do It but i thought I’d give them a go as they opened earlier second time I’ve tried to use them and both times where no help wouldn’t recommend
