My husband, daughter and I absolutely loved staying here! Relais Villarena has wonderful views, friendly and helpful staff, a great play area for children and wonderful pool! We also enjoyed two fish meals at the restaurant.... absolutely delicious! We hope to return again!

This is the perfect base to explore Amalfi with a young family. Tucked away from the busy crowds of Positano and Amalfi but close enough to get everywhere. We spent two weeks here, some days by the pool and others exploring the little streets and lanes leading down to the beach of Nerano. Guglielmo organised some amazing boat trips that brought us to places we would never have found on our own. We were really sad to leave. This place is the real la dolce vita.

Superb experience. Really. Lovely people, excellent food and a great way to learn some history of the region. Ask the host about the nice things of the region (food and wine for a start, not to mention all the places you can visit nearby). He'll be glad to show and share the experiences of this wonderful part of Italy.

We spent 3 nights with Guglielmo and the team and had a perfect stay . We were with our 6 month old son and the staff couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. Great food and we even had a bunch of friends over who were also staying locally in a villa for an epic BBQ. It's a walk down to the cove/bay, quite steep if you're carrying a lot of kit, but parking can be a challenge so ideal if possible (there's a path that takes you all the way down if you want to avoid the road). The room was nice (we were on the top level), lovely views and all the communal facilities are nicely appointed and maintained. We did a fair bit of research and for us this was the best option and certainly didn't disappoint.

We two couples spent 3 nights in Casale Villarena. Guglielmo is a great host- let him help you organize your activities for a truly Italian experience! As a foodie, I had one of the best meals I have ever experienced, prepared by Guglielmo and the chefs at Villarrena.
