I'm a small agency and as a small agency, I need partners with big resources, they are what drive my business. Working in the world of digital marketing and web design means you have to either have an entire team of resources or you have to partner with a company that does. I've used many of the other providers for hosting solutions for my clients and I can unequivocally say that Tranquil not only has more stable services, but their customer service is unmatched. I'm by no means the expert in IT, but their staff is. Working with Tranquil Hosting is kind of like hiring an entire hosting management department for your company, only they're quicker to respond than a lot of the hosting companies I've worked with in the past.

This company bought the hosting company I hosted my biz sites on. The transition was poorly executed, with miss-communication and really poor service-levels. My site was down for more then a day. Eventually, NetActuate sorted out their newly acquired assets and the hosting environment returned to an average up-time delivery. I submitted some simple admin tickets for my environment AS IT WAS BEFORE NetActuate acquired my old hosting company. NetActuate pretty much told me that what I wanted done was out of their scope and that I should look for another hosting company where I could have a VPS environment and perform the tasks myself. Fair enough. However, not wanting to deal with a grandfathered environment, they should have given me the option to move to a VPS before I needed them to perform the rootly tasks necessary on a shared hosting server. They had time to do this. However, the message they sent me between the lines was: \We don't care about your history or your needs; you are asking too much and we don't want to spend time on you: you aren't worth it to our business.\ Certainly not a great customer service model! I see that some employees of NetActuate have posted high ratings here (that's pretty lame). The hosting I have now is a 100 times better for not very much more then I was paying to NetActuate. This worked out for me, although I had to spend a few weeks migrating my site and tuning it, but hey, that's the way it goes. I'd not recommend using NetActuate. They talk a good game, but they dropped me, a longtime customer, because they couldn't and wouldn't do some basic administrative server tasks that I asked them to in a ticket. That shows me that they are not really very customer oriented. Buyer Beware. P.S. Their Cpanel server still pings my new host, following my domain name since they haven't cleaned up completely. :(
I want to say that I sent this company an email asking them to see if they could provide a service our company was in need of. Instead of just reading the email and discarding because they do not offer that service, they took the time to email me and tell me they did not offer that service. They then went one step more and sent me another email with a company that we could contact that could possibly help us here. Not many people would of sent the first email much less the second one. I wish this company did offer the service we were looking for because obviously they are a very caring and customer service oriented company. For the past couple of years we borrow a little bit of rack space. So far they have been great.
