This is a little fortress with a glassed in restaurant built on it. The location across from the Reinfall is stunning. The food is well cooked and hearty. The service is also very friendly. A good place for a wonderful day out.

For me this restaurant has the most beautiful view. The food is ok ( been here 4x.celebrated my birthday here this year) .. For me there is always something lacking or sometimes its too salty. The service is good anyways. I'm hope they can do something with the food taste wise.

What a lovely place. An old stones building right above the water with a great view of the falls! The food was very tasty and the service outstanding. The price was fair too considering the location, the quality of the food and the welcome.

The restaurant has amazing views - even in the dark! The way the falls are lit up along with the building across the water are just lovely.

Having lunch with direct view to Rhine fall is a nice experience. The food is excellent - had a salad followed by venison with Spätzle (home made) and veggies - service very friendly

Although food is nice, it is not something extraordinary, so I would say you are paying for the view, atmosphere and it is definitely worth it if you are here for a romantic lunch/dinner or celebration. Menu is limited, seasonal, still well served and food was tasty all 3 times I ate there, so I assume it's not about luck. I would say meals are inspired by Swiss-German cuisine, but they also have international ( e.g. I tried Black Burger and it was very good). It is better to book a table beforehand to ensure you get the window table. Staff is friendly and helpful, they speak German and English.
