Our founder, a neuroscientist living with epilepsy, is uniquely positioned to develop a strategic plan to target neurologic research investments that will have the most impact on patient outcomes. We incorporate feedback loops from patients, a scientific advisory board, and business advisors to ensure that potential solutions to patient-driven challenges are relevant to patient/stakeholder needs and responsive to the changing neuroscience field. Neurology Patient Initiative funding mechanisms will complement existing federal and private foundation efforts, are not limited by current infrastructure restraints, and involve patients in the product development process.
