Delicious food, friendly staff. I am catalan and I really loved to find the typical catalan dishes being 17179.432 kms away from Catalonia. My boyfriend, local, also loved all dishes. We definitely will return. Congratulations La Despensa team!

Delicious food and great service! They had a set 4 course meal at the time and I would order each and every meal again. The salami on the appetiser was thinly sliced and super tasty, the spinach entree seemed so simple but was so flavoursome, the beef cheeks were absolutely tender and melted in my mouth. Highly recommend, especially if you are a wine lover.
Authentic great quality Spanish food. This is a true gem in the North Shore. Their new four course menu is an exquisite selection of delicious Spanish dishes very nicely done. Not to mention their exclusive selection of Spanish beers and wine. I can't wait to be back!
First time experience, was not disappointed. Food was delicious and perfect portion sizes to share. Anthony and staff were very friendly. Nice open kitchen bar with great ambience and music.
These days they do a set menu with appetizer, 2 starters, 2 mains and dessert. It is a good option to try a little of everything. I really enjoyed the stuffed red peppers (pimientos rellenos), for the diversity of textures on it, and the mushroom paella, that I found very original and well cooked. Chef came to say hello what is always a very nice gesture. Hope things will go back to normal and will be back to enjoy the whole menu. Fins aviat!
Absolutely great experience at La Despensa. We have been here twice now, and both times it was great (and we will be back many more times). Quality of food and service has been excellent. Good selection of tasty tapas for sharing. The Braised Lamb Shoulder just melts in your mouth and is a must have. Good selection of unique wines that you won't find elsewhere. A truly genuine experience and highly recommended.
