After many years of renting different properties, I have never come across such a poorly run business. Dealing with Brian from day 1 has had to be the worst experience as a tenant I could have asked for. Unfortunately as tenants we don’t get to pick who the property manager will be or the company, but as this is their job you’d expect them to be able to do it. From the first day of moving in we had issues that are meant to be resolved within 24 hours, that took well over 4 days to fix. Call after call and multiple emails to Brian went completely unanswered. After escalating how bad he was to his manager, the response was much the same. It showed that it was a company culture that they don’t care at all. If you happen to lease off of Brian, make sure you are ready for the lies once the lease agreement is over about the property. Lucky for us we had a condition report (even still he tried to contest it), so all his comments were void due to the issues he was referring too, were there before we moved in. He has proven over the past 12 months that he really will only share half the information with the owner about issues in their property and makes it seem like nothing is wrong. I think mould destroying a bathroom vanity is reason for it to be swiftly replaced as opposed to months of asking. All in all it was a horrible experience having to deal with him, and will go out of my way to not have to deal with this company ever again.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I echo the sentiments of others. As a renter, our property manager ignores calls/texts and emails even in relation to issues which pose a health or safety risk to tenants such as electrical faults and mould. Extremely frustrating experience. Would avoid at all costs.

Avoid using this Agency for ANYTHING. I was renting from TA, with Brain as the Agent for the property. I was there for over a year, was never given a Lease or Condition report, and Brian NEVER answers his phone, never, which made it really hard to move into another property because other agencies could not contact Brian for references. It took weeks to fix a broken Toilet, and it took almost a year to have a piece of furniture removed. When it came to moving out, Brian harassed me with calls and text messages CONSTANTLY - like call after call after call, accusing me of stealing a bed? After speaking to him multiple times and having to get previous tenants involved, Brian accepted that there was actually never a bed there, but never apologised. As there were no condition reports provided as well when I moved into the property, I was and left liable for damage to furniture which I had not done. We were also accused of stealing a shelf from the fridge? Seriously? No apology for this either. Following this, about a month and a half after I had vacated the property, got an email from Brian, even though we had confirmed all payments with Brian, and bond has been refunded, we were now being accused of having a debt with the property. Brian was very rude, would not explain exactly what the debt was for, but was demanding a 600 payment without any sort of evidence, well in fact the evidence showed that we were paying more than we were meant to so in fact it was a credit. I had to escalate this to Samantha, she was not overly helpful either as Brian had a brief his own manager on our ongoing interactions, and I had to demand a apology from both of them when it came to the point where it was actually Brian who was negligent in this circumstance. I would honestly avoid having any sort of dealing with this Real Estate agency if you could, from an owners perspective and from a tenants perspective as well.
I wouldn’t rent from these guys and I wouldn’t recommend them as property managers at all. They’re negligent, they hire unqualified trades people who damage neighbours property and/ or leave behind dangerous debris. They’re unresponsive as in completely ignore emails from tenants, even when the water’s coming out of the tap rusty. Ignore contact from neighbouring property owners over damage & tradies leaving gates open, and pets on the road. Owning or renting- Raine&Horne would be a better choice.
I was looking to view a rental property which was cancelled last minute. When I called Chris Jones to enquire about the next viewing or if I could arrange a private viewing, I was told that the estate agent was managing over 40 properties and was too busy. Not great first impressions, and I’m looking to buy but renting in the area before I do. Suffice to say I will be hesitant to use this agency when I look to purchase a property.
The service provided by the agency north and the agent, Johnny Ho was absolutely non-existent. I always payed the rent on time, in fact 10 to 12 days in advance. When had dishwasher problem, right at the beginning of the lease I had to follow-up dozens of time until I got a response. They took over a month to get it repaired. When I left the property it was the same. Johnny kept procrastinating the return and the extra days of rent paid. In during one call to follow up I heard the absurd saying he he was too busy to worry about that and was going to update me at some point.
I leased an apartment from Kenny, from the inspection till get the contract done. Kenny’s was already welcoming, friendly and so reliable! If To find a rental property or to buy a property, Kenny is the one that I will always ask for an advise! I can't thank Him enough for all the hard work and been there when I asked for. Thank you! : )
