Digital Creative Institute is such an amazing program! With the help of DCI, I was able to find an entry level job in social media and I'm also getting to learn so much about digital marketing. If it weren't for the apprenticeship program, I wouldn't have the opportunity to really immerse myself in the digital marketing world and learn all the skills I now have. This is such an invaluable experience and I highly recommend that anyone interested in becoming a successful digital marketer take advantage of this opportunity.
I thought my first job out of college after earning my communication degree was perfect working as a web and social media specialist at a digital agency. But then I realized I wasn't learning any new skills or furthering my career and I felt stuck. When I heard about DCI I knew right away this was the path for me in accelerating my marketing career. Already I've learned marketing automation tools and web analytics. The best part though is the community of learning and other apprentices who support each other's learning goals. The tuition is a big commitment - but definitely worth it.
The DCI program is a rigorous, growth focused apprenticeship that allows you to gain real-world knowledge and instantly apply it to you work. In just the first few months I have been able to implement several key leanings to my clients bolstering my reputation and responsibilities within their organizations. The networking opportunities are endless and the cohort style of learning is an excellent way to learn by doing surrounded by like-minded growth oriented marketers! I highly recommend the DCI program to those willing to put in the time to take their skills to the next level!
The DCI offers an amazing opportunity for marketing-minded graduates such as myself. To be transparent, it’s not for everyone. Taking several years of experience (certifications, coaching, etc) and fitting them into a 12 month apprenticeship is no easy feat. At times, it’s going to be uncomfortable. You will be pushed past your perceived limitations but trust me, it is worth it. I consider my time at DCI, a year of tilling, sowing and fertilizing. With their apprenticeship model, they prepared me for the harvest ahead of my career. Moreover, if I had to do it all again, I would with no hesitations.
