PURA is just one more government agency in the State of Connecticut that is utterly and completely incompetent. Before authorizing another 125 million dollar rate increase for Eversource, PURA failed to review the most recent Eversource shareholder earnings presentation. Eversource share value increases and dividends returned to investors place Eversource in the Top 5 in their industry. So when Eversource is telling PURA it needs the rate increases to further invest in infrastructure and upgrades. It is boosting and promising its investors more record earnings and dividends. Deregulation under PURA in the State of Connecticut is a dismal failure. These people are a joke and have no conscious whatsoever. Shameful, simple shameful!!!

I tried to call the 800# from 1:30 - 2:15 and was involved in an endless hold. The tape lied to me, and the Web site is wrong about saying they are there until 4:30 p.m. on non-holiday weekdays. It would surely be better if they were up front and told the truth. One new tape would suffice. I don't really care that they extended their holiday, and don't even mind if they got paid for not working. But don't leave citizen/voters out here hanging with information that is flat Wrong. Meanwhile, I hope all y'all had a festive Fourth.

I called to complain about not being able to get through to a utility on the phone. I waited on hold for 21 minutes for Ct. Public Utility Authority and finally hung up. What a mess. It's 2017 and none of these people can provide just basic customer service.

How much of a kickback do you recieve for allowing the Utility companies to continue to increase our rates when people are becoming poorer, wages are stagnant etc etc? When you look at the bill, you allow for all these little charges that we should not be paying. Especially since senior management is raking in millions of of pay for themselves.
