Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, a statesman, a scholar of law, a thorough gentleman, initially a lawyer by profession and then rose in political echelon and climbed to become 9th President of India, covers eight decades of history in his fold (19 Aug 18 to 26 December 1999). Chief MInister of Bhopal from 1952 to 1956 and then Vice President from 1987-1992 and then President of India from 1992 to 1997, the life of Late Shankar Dayal Sharma also shaw political post and executive post such as Minister of Ministries in Govt. of India and Governors of Punjab and Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Known to have written a poem on Quran, which has been admired by both HIndu and Muslim Community, he holds command over literature too. This is a memorial to remember him which is located in campus of Rashtriya Smriti Sthal which is clean, well maintained and with greenery. Tribute to the great soul.
