Its website is user friendly, fast, hassle-free, efficient, error-free and has won the confidence of its large number of customers. IRCTC is known for changing the face of railway ticketing in India which is internet-based rail ticket booking through its website and mobile phones. Its knowing PNR status as well as SMS service is very popular. However, its catering services need drastic improvement and as it seems there are not too many happy passengers. IRCTC must made its catering optional in Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains and must not impose its poor quality food on passengers
