I wanted to purchase a handbag but prices were higher (Rs.1200 onwards for a good looking handbag) than any other market in delhi, products are not worth when you compare according to the price and they don't even bargain, this review is purely based upon marketing of bags in Lajpath Nagar market. The prices are high but products aren't worth what we pay for it. So if you plan to purchase handbags, sling bags etc. From Lajpat Nagar market, you will have to set your budget more than or around Rs.1200-1500.

A perfect blend is what creates a perfect experience. Here in Lajpat nagar this very idea stands very well with a perfect mix and twist of both residential and commercial. Named after the Lala Lajpat Rai, the lion of Punjab; is a great destination for shoppers, shopperholics and quenchers as well. From furniture to toiletries, from refrigerator wrap to clothes fetch-bargain-take home that's how it works here because as previously said it's a blend of both freedom of buying and oblige to the goddess of shopping. The very love of shopping may get you either the top of your class fashion or make you go bankcript but here in Lajpat nagar with chepest rate and added facility of bargaining, the desire and pleasure of shopping is quenched and satisfied to the very brim. No wonder in calling it the shoppers destination for only very few materials and stuffs may not be available here. Rest assure experience is what matters. Not just Indians but known and unknown faces too counted may lead to a proper amount of people within the market that even claustrophobic people may come out on the streets for shopping dispite the crowd because when there is a chance of such a shopping experience, denying would be a sin and forbidden. Excellent bargaining place. Best location for purchasing woollens, Punjabi suits and palazzos, bags and handpurses... Masks a must. Otherwise police personnel immediately issue a hefty fine.

Very costly market we get same things in cheaper rate in some other markets in South India. If you are South Indian they discriminate. Not worth visiting
