Dining at this restaurant was an incredible experience. You could tell that every dish and every drink we were served was the result of a hell of a lot of preparation and passion. There are few restaurants in Brisbane that have so much attention to detail and ingredients and the creativity of the chefs was inspiring. We absolutely loved this place and cannot wait to go again. Go in and support this restaurant, it is a treasure.

Fantastic dining experience! My husband took me here for my birthday and we loved it. We could totally tell the effort that’s been put into making every dish special and interesting. It’s difficult to cater for all tastes but it’s the quality and attention to details that really make the biggest difference.

Had an awesome night out being looked after by the people at Elska! The food served was fantastic in all aspects! Loved the stories behind some of the ingredients and preparation as well. The wine pairings were also really good! Service impeccable. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

One day I was searching for a degustation restaurant, and came across ELSKA. After reading a review saying "its the best degustation restaurant in Brisbane", and seeing that ELSKA *only* serves degustation, I decided to give it a go. Never regretted that decision. When my partner and I arrived, we were greeted by the owner couple. They were very lovely and guided us to what I thought was the best table: right in front of the kitchen, where we could see all the magic happen. The first dish came out straight away, and it was never a long wait between dishes. Each dish was a delight and they were all accompanied by an interesting explanation of the ingredients. For one of the dishes, they used "Lion's Manes Mushroom" (which was delicious by the way), and the staff even brought out a whole uncooked mushroom for us to touch, which was really cool! Long story short, it was an overall enjoyable experience, and 10/10 I would recommend ELSKA to anyone who's interested in trying out new, innovative dishes. I personally would come back again whenever they have a new menu. Keep it up team ELSKA!

Lots of interesting flavours and love the variety of ingredients I wouldn't normally get at other restaurants. Very enjoyable experience at Elska, only negative personally was how tiny the portions were when compared with other fine dining venues like Joy.

Absolutely beautiful experience. We ran out of adjectives to use to describe the stunningly delicious food. So many wonderful, unique flavours. The space is so intimate, and there is so much effort spent on the tiny little details. It was such a delight being served by Freja and Nathan. James was able to suggest the most perfect wine. They are so far from pretentious and snobby, despite the food and atmosphere being beyond any other fine dining I have ever experienced. Just so friendly and down to earth. And that food. I can't get over it. Life changing.

It was our first time here and really enjoyed the overall experience. The menu changes every 3 months and this rotations flavours were very interesting (using ants for a citrus flavour) and quite strong and at times overpowering. There were 14 courses and understandably dish sizes can't be big for that reason, but we found the sizes were teeny tiny! Especially for 120 per head. Enjoyed the wine pairing but just double check the bill at the end because we were charged more than what we were told it would cost. Also the first 3 courses were served before anyone took our drinks order - we had to flag someone down to order our wines which we shouldn't have to do at a fine dining restaurant let alone one that only seats max 12 at a time. So yes, definitely some flaws but overall it was an enjoyable night.
