It’s the most “authentic” wine bar in New Haven. Carefully furnished and decorated in Euro-Anglo whimsical fashion, with a menu that’s long on quality and focus. My friend and I went in for a glass and a snack, and ended up ordering 4 different dishes over 2 hours.

Cutest little spot. The charcuterie board is on point as is their wine selection and most importantly, their service. Highly recommend!

The quintessential Tiny Bar, August is a New Haven best-kept-secret. With a max capacity of probably no more than 20 people, arrive early to ensure a seat - and make sure to order from their charcuterie menu, it's fun to watch it assembled right at the bar.
