Very nice hotel. There are many restaurants nearby.

Nice place. Rooms are small, typical of new England. It's a very old building but has been kept up nicely. Underground parking garage for guests. Wish the bed was softer but I guess you only get the good with category 6 and up. This is a category 5.

Very good and comfortable hotel right in middle of Yale and walking distance to restaurants. Good comfortable beds.

Very nice atmosphere and the employees an nice and kind, friendly. The rooms are more than adequate, just like your own bedroom at home. I'd give them six stars the hotel itself is very well kept

The first room had a broken toilet that they could not fix. So they gave us a new room. The second room's fridge was not working. We decided it wasn't necessary and stayed. That night, the TV went dead. The rooms furniture was also a little shoddy. We have stayed in hotels at half the rate that were much better than this place.

The first thing we experienced when we walked in was a homeless guy panhandling us in the actual Marriott entrance to which the staff was oblivious. I told them about it and they brushed it off like it was the usual and it was a common occurrence. Last night, on our second night, my car has been broken into and was vandalized; the trunk is broken and many of personal items are now missing. The front desk person was courteous enough to give me the tape but no offer to fix my car or compensate me in any way at all. Forget about staying safe from COVID at this or any other Marriott. You may as well have actual bums stay with you in your room. So there is no confusion I have attached a picture of the particular drunken homeless man who broke into my car. This Marriot literally allows drunken bums to sit around at the entrance of their hotel and aside from some cameras has NO SECURITY. THIS MARRIOT IS NOT SAFE! DONT STAY THERE!

Friendly hotel staff and location is very close to Yale campus. The rooms do look dated and in need of a makeover. The bathroom door couldn't close because the door lock was warped. If you force it shut, you run the risk of getting trapped inside the bathroom. However, it is comfortable and plenty of electrical outlets. Parking is 25 dollars a night with in and out privileges. Caution - the exit signs for the underground parking is confusing. I see cars coming out the entry way because signs were not clear of where they should exit. Parking space underground is also very tight. The additional parking spaces outside seem better and more spacious. While location is close to Yale, the area seems quite questionable.
