I like family Dollar on whalley in New Haven open early and stay open late.the people that work there are always friendly and their household items are quite charming I recommend them for starter apartments if your on a budget or not. It's just smart shopping they have some of everything. And they have have Dollar specials.....the atmosphere is always pleasant and Mangers are nice. Service good they respond when help is needed.

It's a great store and you can get some of the best deals and bargains at that store. The people that work there are amazing, wonderful people who are some of the greatest people you'll ever meet as well as VERY hard workers. I'm blessed to live so close to Family Dollar.
Quick run in and out for Motorola for the car but they did have the brand that I needed Pennzoil and it was pretty cheap
At register all people were all around me no social dictating Iles were jam packed that is always!!!
