This is my Friday morning stop for my favorite breakfast sandwich in downtown. I know they are simple to make, but Eddie uses good quality ingredients, and cooks everything on the griddle. He and his whole family are super friendly. The place definitely has regulars, sitting around playing guitar in the morning or kids waiting for the bus - a really great downtown feel and a fantastic place to stop for a bite to eat, and some coffee.

Although the set up of this market may look a little underwhelming, the people who own it are incredibly nice. The breakfast sandwiches are made in front of you, quick, delicious and inexpensive. The bacon is ALWAYS perfect. Highly recommend for a quick breakfast or lunch or to pick up some groceries! Eddie and his wife are so genuine, make sure you get a chance to talk with them

I love this place. This is the place to go for the best homemade hummus in new haven. I am also a BIG fan of the fried cauliflower. That stuff is so yummy.

The owners are very friendly. All the food I've order the many times I visted the market in the past few weeks was great. My only complaint is I should have been visted the market sooner. Great service and great tasting food.
