Great arena
The Parks and Rec staff at the New Hope Ice Area is top-notch!! They have wonderful customer service, especially Penny Spitzer (administrative specialist). She was extremely helpful in helping my family sign up for pre-registration open skate time, and she even called me back twice to follow up with me. You don't get this level of service with other city departments (much less department stores). She is a happy, positive and attentive professional. This is the reason my family will continue to come back to this ice area. So pleased!!!
Good event space with lots.of parking.
Poor experience with this arena. The front door liaison insisted that nobody could enter arena, except for 1 parent of each player,, of which he enforced on our team. The arena rules had "No flexibilty" he stated, but the Home team was allowed to have multiple elderly Grandparents attend the game of their grandsons. Exactly the individuals that their Arena Rules are trying to protect from the Covid frenzy. No bathrooms to use too. This place needs to get its head in check, and being a hypocrite is not going to work well.
