I've delivered my two babies with this midwifery. Manijeh is so kind, knowledgeable and great that I did not have to worry about anything during pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. I would recommend her to anyone!

I Highly recommend New Horizon Midwifery—As first time parents we weren’t sure what to expect and we had so many questions.You can tell the team (Manijeh ,Zahra, and Johanna ) all have so many years of experience and I love the fact they were so open minded- never did I feel any judgement with any of my choices nor rushed. I recall at one point I needed blood work to check for obstetric cholestasis and I was so anxious to find out my results (luckily everything was fine ) The team went above and beyond to let me know the results . I couldn’t stop worrying the whole day. As soon as they had received the results they message me right away- calling me not once but twice, leaving voice message ,text and email to make sure I get the message and to put my mind at ease . From my early labor contractions to the end was a total of 68 hours. It was a very long difficult labor and it resulted in Cesarean surgery as my daughter heart rate was rising. Zahara was the on call midwife . She was there making sure baby and I were good every step of the way- including the surgery room and after surgery. After birth -During the home visit Manijeh even took the time to call in for a prescription so we wouldn’t have to make two trips down. From my smooth pregnancy to my unexpected hectic,long painful labor to the after care we received . I don’t think I can put into words how grateful we are .I definitely felt all the care and love . I can tell they made sure we were on the right track as new parents before saying our goodbyes .Thank you New Horizon Midwifery and Burnaby Midwifery Care for taking care of my family. Side note*** it’s also great to know that I am able to see a midwife in future for all my appointments even if I decide to have another C- section.
The best decision was to go with a midwife for my first pregnancy. Manijeh was and is really great and supportive through out my pregnancy and the few weeks postpartum, honestly I don’t know what I could ever done without her, more that I didn’t have my mom with me, she felt like Family. The appointments were not rushed and I felt informed all the time. I have a healthy baby boy and we will be grateful for live with her.
Having Manijeh as my midwife was the best decision that I made because thanks to her I had the best birth experience with my first one and guess what ? I choose her for my second baby also because she's so professional and with her I feel safe .Thanks Manijeh _
Manijeh is a wonderful and caring midwife that treats you like family. I've had her as a midwife for both of my pregnancies which i was able to deliver naturally. At the hospital, it is great to have her in your corner because with the constant change of shifts in the hospital of nurses and doctors during a long pregnancy, Manijeh is the constant that is there with you through the whole thing.
