M32zfapl0o Bought sofa in November. Seams inside split and interior stuffing non existent. The sofa was delayed at first as they emailed me and said they had an issue with the stuffing and it would be a month. I said OK yet a week later they were ablt to deliver the sofa. Needless to say the sofa was delivered with substandard filing. Complained immediately. Was visited by dfs today who said I need to plump it up twice daily!! Did not specify this on its advert on its website which I took up with head office and who confirmed this was not stipulated on the website. Now waiting to be contacted by store manager from new malden so I can maybe sit on the sofa without sinking into oblivion. I'm 8 stone so this is not a weight problem. Alternatively I will stop payments and happy to see them in court. False advertising dfs. Sofa not fit for purpose at present and I will not be paying for it in its current state.

I bought leather sofa for (3000), the leather start to peel out like fake leather when I talked to them they said its not manufacturer fault , so you have to expect bad quality leather and upholstery also ,don't wasted your money Order number : 36zfk5832

Not happy with this company at all. We bought a sofa early this year and a few months after it developed a wrinkled arm and a large lump in the seat. A member of staff came round, re-stuffed the arm and told us we would need a new seat. Then, nothing! We contacted them and a female staff member asked us to send photos as, apparently the manufacturers wanted them. This we did and emailed them. She said that she never received them so we checked the email address, which was correct and sent them again. So far we have sent 3 or 4 emails with pictures which she says she never received. We then sent them to another email address provided by her and we have heard nothing. They are extremely difficult to get hold off anyway but if this continues we will write an official complaint. We will never purchase anything from them again.

Harold is the real star, sofas come next. My shopping experience was stress free and enjoyable. Harold made me a cup of tea and even offered chocolate and life advise. I felt like I was with a friend rather than a salesman. And yes, I got the sofa, and yes, I recommend strongly DFS.

Very happy apart from the delay to delivery. I understand things can be delayed but like to be kept updated and was informed right at the last minute after taking a half day at work to wait for delivery. Overall I would use them again as the sofa looks amazing & is extremely comfortable. I thought the pricing was fair compared to other suppliers.

If you're happy to wait 6 months for a sofa then DFS is the place for you! Pathetic customer service. How do you people sleep at night? Probably on the couch I paid for that has yet to be delivered.

Horrible company, don't keep you in the loop, sofa delayed 3 times now took 2 complaints for someone to speak to you. They make all the promises in the store about 9 weeks maximum for delivery when actually it's all engineered in their favour. If there's a delay in parts or their suppliers it doesn't matter to them they still have low overheads and warehousing costs, the customer ultimately pays by having to wait longer. On and now the last excuse was that the ship was broken in port. Sorry, does your website not say made in the UK? Avoid at all costs go and spend your money at a independent retailer.
