Started off OK, then discovered they hadn't paid the premium I sent them for the extended warranty. Spent two months trying to get them to do this, but wouldn't answer phone calls or email. Finally they got the new paperwork to me to sign and return, which I did via recorded delivery. This was returned to me via Royal Mail as they refused the letter. I agree DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS THEY WILL, IF POSSIBLE, RIP YOU OFF. Am now going to take them to court. Think I'm just luck the car runs OK

DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU. AVOID AT ALL COSTS The company buy cars from auction that have known issues and then sell on to the public. They sold me a car that basically blew up after 5 miles and when I called to try to get them to fix this they laughed at me and hung up. I tried several times to reason with them but they are obviously running a scam and are not bothered about customer service.

Yes some serious problems at this garage, came across this review after running into problems myself, if only i had seen it sooner. Would not give it a good review at all and possibly discuss this with the local banks and with auto trader for example as there must be some repercussions for operating in this way.

DIRECT CAR SALES NEW MALDEN Made appointment, drove 1 hour round trip to visit a Merc C200 which was boxed in at the showroom, so therefore I was unable to test drive it as requested. The owner / salesman said I should come back with my husband at the weekend. ..I just called again to arrange the test drive because the car looks good and I was hoping my first impression was a fluke . This time they were reluctant, I was told they have already test driven it themselves and it will take 2 hours to move out of the showroom. As it is an expensive car if it drives fine I must agree to buy it (!?). They asked that I be prepared to agree price etc beforehand. I said that wasn't how shopping for a car worked and that we are also comparing it with another car, the test drive would form part of our deciding process. To which I was thanked and the call ended!!! WOW. This reflects my opinion of 2 conversations with this company. And I do not recommend them!

I've been to this "garage" twice, the first time the car advertised wasn't even there....apparently it was off being serviced and they would call me when it returned.....they never called. The second was to view a car that, to be fair, looked too good to be true. A 2009/58 reg VW golf TSI for 6750, something didn't quite seem right but i went anyway (Parkers estimated value was nearer 8k). What a waste of time! Firstly when i arrived and asked to see the car.....i thought id use this opportunity to ask for the paperwork as well to which the salesman said "do you want to see the car or the paperwork?"......rude idiot....i want to see both and as the buyer, i'll see them how i wish. When i got to the car BOTH wing mirrors had been smashed to pieces, oh they were on the car still, but literally like a jigsaw waiting to fall apart, and there was a VERY long scuff down the side of the car with a dent near the front wheel arch, which looked like it had been T-CUT so it wouldn't show up in the pictures. Obviously none of this was mentioned in the advert (making them appear to be trying to deceive people AKA hoping you either wouldn't notice or had traveled so far that you wouldn't care) and when i looked at the pictures online again it was obvious they had taken the pictures in angles where you couldn't see the damage. i didn't even bother to see the paperwork....i promptly left with only an hour of my day down the toilet rather than 6k. Absolute con artists and time wasters who give small garages a bad name.

very bad experience. I made the blunder of paying the deposit. I was skeptic when i went to see the car. the guys are jerks. the guy who went with me for test driving was so stupid, he kept telling me why are you driving this way, what car are you driving etc etc. he shouted at me when the car stalled and when i asked is that a problem of the engine.ridiculous. But i decided not to go with the car inspite of losing some money as deposit. Donot buy a car from them . these are thugs and rude cheaters

WARNING: DIRECT CAR SALES LTD IS RUN BY CROOKS AND CONMEN AND IS NOW CALLED DRIVE CARS SAME PEOPLE! Bought a rust bucket from this junk yard called DIRECT CAR SALES (NEW MALDEN). The car broke very shortly afterwards. Guess what? the warranty they claimed covered me (to get me to buythe car) did not cover anything and was rubbish. I was left seriously out of pocket and the dealership is a rogue trader. The whole place stinks of conmen and dodgy car dealers. BEWARE ** While I was there bailiffs were seizing and clamping cars. Obviously this place has courts jusgements against it.

They are a bunch of greedy bas*tards! One guy was just a total jerk not interested in helping customer at all! Overall car was ok... Alloy wheels where a total mess! and the Sat nav screen didnt work either! I agree with the other reviewers... the garage pricks have no problem and lied to me too! I travelled all the way down from Scotland, so didn't really have choice about declining car. Must say made it home in one piece and then got actual car dealer to service car and do a check all over... couple of issues picked up but all related to brakes but overall car seems to be running fine. However will not buy from these pricks ever again! Do yourself a a favour and buy elsewhere....
