We ordered a chicken curry with the spinach side and it was delicious. My kids even ate it which was brilliant! Will definitely be ordering from again, communication and delivery was great as well.

If you are a food lover & enjoy trying different cuisine, then you are going to love Durban Street Food. The proprietors, Charmaine & Dave, are so friendly & the advice given about suitable food is really appreciated. When it comes to the food, all I will say is that it is absolutely excellent and portion sizes are very generous. Dishes come in three sizes (small, single and family). Having brought the single, one definitely feeds two, or maybe three, depending on your appetite. The small is perfect for one. Family size, easily feeds four. Meals are all cooked to perfection and I’m loving trying the different dishes. The puddings are fantastic and the first one I tried, malva pudding, was divine. For those with a sweet tooth, then koeksisters will definitely be your thing. They are pastries that have been, quite literally, drowned in syrup. If you are watching your waistline, then maybe stick to eating them over a period of time, or sharing them with others. As there is a U.K. mainland postal delivery system for all dishes, no one need miss out on the delights of Durban Street Food. I’m making this my go to place to stock up on food in future. Given the absolutely fantastic service offered by Charmaine and Dave, why shouldn’t I? They also offer catering for events of all kinds, so if your braai needs stocking up, you’ve a family get together, or whatever other reason you want great South African food, then speak to Charmaine & Dave. You will not be disappointed.
If you haven’t tried Durban Street Food before, now is the perfect opportunity. There wasn’t a dish we didn’t enjoy but the Creamy Chicken and Pineapple Curry was an unexpected delight. Absolutely delicious! Having a few meals stored in the freezer is the way forward for us. Home-cooked food, lovingly made, at our fingertips. Thanks Durban Street Food!
My daughter sent me koeksusters for my birthday. They were lovely. A real taste of South Africa.
This little gem of a shop is a wondrous find. In the suburb of New Malden, you go in and meet the owner Dave, who’s very knowledgeable about his products. They sell South African ready meals which are freshly made in the kitchen at the back. We had the Durban Curry which comes with rice and was exactly like you’d get back home. We also got a made to order milk tart which was as good as if my grandmother had made it. Thanks to Charmane. So go and support this shop and try some Authentic home made South African food! Highly recommended. We will be back for more.

My two young boys absolutely love the Spaghetti Bolognese from Durban Street Food! It's a sure fire winner every time. It's so convenient and you can pop it in the freezer and use it when you are ready. We love the curries too and we're also looking forward to using the home delivery option. This will be so useful when time is limited when you have a busy family. Highly recommended!
I have a selection of DSF meals in the freezer and this week have tried and thoroughly enjoyed the Lamb Curry. Tender tasty meat, well spiced and a good portion size too. Don’t queue in a supermarket, buy from Durban Street Food direct.
