I renewed my contents insurance with Home protect, I had a cheaper quotation on compare the market but when I applied to the cheaper one and finished answering all their question by had managed to be 50 more than Home Protect. Never had to claim on my policy with them over the last 3 years so can't comment on that area but renewing was easy and professional when I need to call about a couple of thing on the renewal.

Terrible company, have been insured for years with them, they take your money but when you need them they are hopeless. Had a leaking cisterns in July, flooded study, they have not done a thing and now we are in October..no dryers, mould everywhere and no action..disgusting

Although it was Saturday evening they managed to get hold of a heating engineer within 20 hours. He fixed the problem on a temporary basis until I was able to get a permanent fix when my own boiler maintenance people were back at work on the Monday. The telephone contact was particularly good in keeping me updated as to what success he was or wasn't having. I far prefer to know, even if it's negative, than be kept in the dark.
