I had an MOT and brake pads done at M&D autos, New malden today and was impressed with the gentleman that did the MOT as he was very helpful and knowledgeable . Unfortunately the receptionist Tracy was rather argumentative and challenging when I explained about the Audi service policy . She also asked me to leave when I was talking to the MOT gentleman about the brakes , saying that he was busy ! Sorry but I would have expected more courtesy and respect, especially as I was considering using them again for a bodywork repair and service . I am very dissapointed and wonder if Tracy deals with other customers in this manner !
First time visitor great value for work carried out and stuff that didn't need doing even though I was told by other garage that I did they told me I didn't surprised with price after work done defo my garage from now on good prices and honest mechanics
Malcolm as honest as you can get if there's an unseen problem with your vehicle he will tell you and will not charge over the odds if there's not a problem he won't tell you there is. I have been going there for 17 years, his company have kept my 19 year old Caravelle running smoothly. Cheers Malcolm and all your employees great bunch of lads.
Do not use this garage at all cost. Very rude owner, was shouting at me on the phone and hang up on me when I asked to explain why he was charging me for a part that he broke which was not my fault. They kept my car for 5 days and there was no communication whatsoever about when I will get my car back. They only had to change the drive shaft which should not take that long. They broke the anti theft nuts and asked me to pay for labour and parts. When I went to collect my car no apologies was given at all and he even refused to talk to me as if it was my fault. I was very polite and understandable unlike him. Such a shame as I support local business but I am never going back there again. Anyway, he told me not to come back and threatened me that I will not be able to use any garage in New Malden as he will talk to them. Despicable behaviour!
