I don't like to write negative reviews, but yesterday was the second time I've been to this post office and had a bad experience with the staff (specifically the female sat behind the glass). I wanted to send a package that had various things in, including a piece of tech. When mentioning the tech product, the female member of staff quite rudely told me I should declare everything to her as if this is something I'm meant to know? Where's the signage telling me that my tech will be placed on hold if it isn't declared? Where does it say this? She then asked me over 5 times whether the package included perfumes.. I had told her once that it didn't, yet she was persistent, it felt very demeaning. It's as if they assume everyone that goes to the post office knows the protocol? Some customers don't send packaging regularly, and shouldn't be spoken down to or treated disrespectfully as a result. I dread every time I go to the post office.. why should it be this way!

Very helpful but they need more staff as you will be queueing for some time.
The only thing going for this branch are Royal Mail international postage fees. The staff are so rude, and talk to you like you're nothing with not a single ounce of people skills - and I had everything prepaid which is meant to reduce this quarrels.
I've never felt compelled to leave a bad review on google until now. Such horrible treatment to a customer. I walk in at 1710 to post and they close at 1730. They repeatedly tell me to hurry and give very impatient instructions on how to post. I verbally communicate that they are showing horrible treatment of people. The old lady's excuse is its covid and they have to catch train etc and they have been working the whole day. I said I'm also a key worker and work long hours but I am not horrible to the people I work with or encounter. Again, shocked with how they treated myself and another customer.
Beware. The New Malden Post Office locks its doors ahead of their advertised closing times. You cannot rely on the opening hours they publish on their website.
Staff pleasant however service is too slow
