Was very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy shown by Paul Briers and his colleagues at Mitchells Estate Agents. His respectful and sensitive approach to selling my late father’s property was invaluable. It was quickly made apparent that the fact that I no longer live locally and was trying to sell the property from a distance, was not going to be a problem. Paul’s research was very thorough. He sought the advice of an architect to ascertain whether the property had development potential. This advice, combined with his understanding of the local property market, ensured that any marketing was based on sound, informed knowledge and not guesswork. In addition, he also arranged for a local company to carry out the EPC survey and arranged a quote from a house clearance company so that I wouldn’t have the worry of doing so myself. Mitchells then later ensured that the clearance company would have access to the property during the second Covid lockdown so the necessary work could be carried out. This additional work, which went beyond merely marketing the property, no doubt saved me a substantial amount of time and money which would otherwise have been spent constantly travelling back and forth to the area. Once on the market, I was kept regularly informed of any developments and never felt “out of the loop.” Would highly recommend to anyone looking to sell. If I still lived in the New Forest, Mitchells would be my first choice to market my property.
