We have now finished our 13 day Highlights of Tasmania with Robert & Pam. It has been a delight. They are very professional & friendly, the group was 12 people in a very comfortable coach, the inclusions & accommodation are great. Robert is an excellent driver/ tour leader full of information & nothing is a trouble, even if it means a slight detour to see or do something extra. He is passionate about Tasmania, it’s heritage & particularly the spectacular Wilderness areas. Pam is friendly, fun & helpful & combined they make a fabulous team & have made this trip one of our most enjoyable. Cannot recommend them highly enough. We met Bob Brown at Salamanca markets & mentioned Fun Tassie Tours & Robert & he said “Yes, I’ve heard of him!” My only suggestion would be a farewell drinks or a farewell dinner back at the gorgeous Hadley Hotel on the last night as none of our group wanted to say goodbye as we had gotten along so well & had such a great time. I know there were extenuating circumstances this time but it might be something to be considered in the future. I would give them a higher score than 5 stars if one was available. Pure pleasure.

Attended the 6 day group tour with Robert as our guide. I had been to Hobart several times and wanted to see more of Tasmania without having to do all of the homework and planning. This was a wonderful trip that touched on areas like Cradle Mountain, Launceston, and small mining towns on the west coast. The planning and schedule was seamlessly run and chosen accommodation was very comfortable. The real value for me on the tour was being able to enjoy my surroundings without having my head stuck in a map and it was also fun to travel with others as I am normally a solo traveller. Also, it was quite obvious how much enthusiasm and knowledge Robert had for the different areas. His introduction to the various places we visited always put us in very good stead with the owners and operators of the different establishments. Would thoroughly recommend this tour for anyone who likes to see a lot but wants a break from planning it all themselves. I've had plenty of experience planning itineraries for myself and this was a much more enjoyable and less stressful way to enjoy my holiday :)
Robert showed our group of 14 people, aged from their 60's to one person in their 80's around 'his Tasmania'. His passion for his state was evident, as was his knowledge. We saw so many interesting places packed into our 13 days tour, many of which I feel may have been missed, had we not been travelling in a group. I highly reccomend the tour.
The tour was fantastic. Robert the driver and guide was very knowledgeable, a great driver and took us to some amazing places. It was a small group tour and I would highly recommend Robert and his company.
We five people and Robert on the small bus were like a family. I had a lot of fun! Collecting shells on the beaches was interesting!
Just finished a 5 day tour with Robert of Fun Tassie Tours and it was great. With the whole COVID thing a lot of tourist things have changed but because of his years doing tours he always found us something else to do. Highly recommend
Morgan's 6 day Tasmanian Tour through Fun Tassie Tours was exceptional. This tour is not to be missed. We saw more in these 6 days then we saw in the previous 3 weeks. Timing was awesome as we were able to visit places that were off the beaten path and avoided large crowds and explored some of the many highlights that Tasmania has to offer. As I was selecting pictures for this post I was reminded of all of the things, animals and places that we were able to see. Just fantastic! We never felt rushed, our rooms were always ready, lunches were prepared and ready, and Morgan had great suggestions for dinner as we arrived in our evening destinations. The tea and biscuits served everyday in the afternoon was just a lovely touch. Although our family has traveled extensively, driving on the "wrong" side of the road is a line that I'm not comfortable crossing. So, careful research led us to the highly recommended Fun Tassie Tours. We could not have been more pleased. Robert and Morgan offered door-to-door service and went out of their way to plan a variety of experiences that only a Tassie would know. I was particularly impressed with the wine tasting experience, offered through a local winery, and the incredible entrepreneurial spirit of the Tasmanian citizens. We visited a farm, with state-of-the-art self-milking technology that had a fantastic cheese shop attached. Robert took us to visit a reclaimed wood shop, which still uses traditional methods of harvesting trees. We made a brief stop to attend a lecture by the owner of a new, dehydrated fruit business. Additionally, I didn't realize until visiting the links to which the Tasmanian people have gone to try to save the endangered Tasmanian Devil. If Tasmania is on your bucket list, you owe it to yourself to book with Fun Tassie. 10/10.
