If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. This was easily the BEST MEAL I’VE EVER HAD. I started with the DesAlmands Catfish. Heaven! But wait! I had the chop with the fall vegetables. Heaven squared. But then...then the carrot cake bread pudding. Oh Lord...IT WAS AMAZING. Thank you Chef Frank & company for the BEST MEAL EVER. LOVE YOU! PS - Patrons, wear “roomy” clothing. You’re going to finish everything on your plate!

My family and I have been going for decades and have never had a bad meal or a disappointing one. We have always had superb meals. Can recommend everything on the menu but the gumbo is one of the best anyway in the world. Also, any fish dish on the menu is going to be prepared perfectly and be most delicious.
Experience was fantastic. Food was awesome. Decor was beautiful and clean! Our server was outstanding. The praline bread pudding is the best we’ve had.
We absolutely LOVE this restaurant! We have never had a bad meal here. Every dish is always a 10/10. The staff is beyond friendly. It is our go-to date night spot. We are big foodies and we know every time we go to Brigtsens we are going to have a fantastic meal. Catfish is incredible, butternut shrimp bisque is incredible, trout meunière...INCREDIBLE!!! And don’t forget to get the pecan pie and any dessert for that matter. Definitely top 3 best restaurants in New Orleans.
So glad to be able eat Frank's food again, even if it is takeout...the duck is outstanding and the lightly smokey gumbo was excellent.
