Good food and great drinks. The folks behind the bar can shake/stir a mean cocktail. Impressive beer selection as well. Worth trying.

I have fallen in LOVE with Rock and Rye Tavern. The staff is enjoyable and personable. The food is always impressive and filling. I have been craving a gin gin mule or a gimlet from their bar for days. It will be difficult for me to stay away from this wonderful restaurant through the weekend. I can not wait to have another wonderful meal there!
Decade "themed" cocktails... Absolutely genius! Slow cooked farm to table fare... Double genius!
This is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. From the ambience to the service, the food to the drinks, this is a place you have to visit! My family came in on a Tuesday night (hoping it would be slow, but it was packed!) and ordered drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts! I had the smoked salmon appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. From there, I had the Ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly. For dessert I shared some sour cream doughnuts with my brother. Our server was amazing: he offered suggestions, was attentive and handled a few issues with great patience and care (e.g. my father didn't care for the side that came with his meal and a different one was brought out). I'll definitely be coming back here the first chance I get!
The Tavern is a strange mix of cafeteria/airline food with 'fancy' drinks. When there are salt and pepper shakers on the table, the doubt starts to creep in about the food quality. Indeed, the fare was a throw back to the 80's, a poorly made 'asian' white rice tossed with some random vegetables (the rice was crunchy) as a side and the vegetable side quoted on the other dish by the waiter ended up being something completely different. The mussels app was devoid of flavor, which was disappointing when you consider the simplicity of the dish. The kitchen needs to get back to the basics when approaching the menu and essentials such as seasoning the meat/fish/poultry before cooking it. To quote Emeril Lagasse, "I don't know were you come from, but where I come from the meat doesn't come seasoned." The wait staff looked like they all wore their Sunday picnic hangout clothes. The overall sense of the place was a lack of cohesion and lackluster, a sort of lost ship if you will. The ambiance was cozy and rustic, and the bar/fireplace was interesting, but too unorganized. There's a sort of lackadaisical club house feel amid the tall trees at the edge of the golf course. If you like that, and some basic comfort cafeteria food and some liquor, it's a chill place.
Their drinks are amazing! Food is awesome to!
