The cottage is in a fabulous location, within walking distance to many beaches and coves. I found the cottage very clean, cosy and traditional, it was very much a home from home. There is a lovely wood burner with plenty of logs and a lovely large garden that’s safe for dogs and children. The host was very helpful and was easy to get hold of for anything. My family and I couldn’t fault the cottage in any way and we would love to stay again.

when we arrived the key safe would not unlock. we had no phone signal (vodafone) but one of the neighbours did & phoned the owner on our behalf. eventually the cleaner came & got the key for us. the cottage is grubby & needs a thorough clean. there is so much stuff in the kitchen cupboards that there is very little room for food. the drawers etc could do with sorting out. the wardrobe in the bedroom has no rail, just hooks, so is not really any use & the door doesn't shut. I could go on & on, but think you get the jist of this property. if you are dog owners be aware that there is no direct access to garden. out through back door & through a gate. there may also be livestock in field at bottom. you are expected to take your own rubbish up the lane to the wheelie bin on the main road, as well as take your own recycling to the local collection point. however, the wifi is free & there is plenty of firewood & hot water. the cottage could be wonderful, but it's just chilly & gloomy.
