Open with showers and toilets. Lovely, very tidy and well kept site in general. Good clean showers and toilets. Cheaper for a small tent without hook up than most I tried in the area. Grass well cut, top section for Vans is level and lower part slopes slightly, not an issue and helps drainage. No passing traffic as near the end of the road. Quiet, secure area. Would come back, owners friendly.

Great place to relax. Close enough to walk into town, far enough to be away from the crowds. Nice facilities on a spacious site.

I don't usually do reviews but after staying at this campsite for the past six nights I felt I had to share how good and friendly this site is. The facilities are very clean and the owners are constantly looking after the areas. The views and walks from the site are absolutely amazing. But what most stood out was how friendly and helpful the owners are and what a great 'traditional' feel the site has. We will definitely be returning!

I've starred it 1 because there is no half. I should imagine that it would be nice as a location in the height of summer but we are in October and although the owners can not do anything about the weather ! They can however keep the facility clean and tidy. They have an obligation to drain the site, its completely bogged down with water. The toilet is unclean and in COVID times this is even more important.!! No one came to greet us and explain, they are just not bothered. They haven't updated since it was first revamped, in short they simply do not care. Top price as well for Meade ochre facilities. Go somewhere else, This site let's the town down.
