Despite what is said about New Residence on campus it is nicer than some of the other dorms I have stayed in on campus. Plus house keeping does maintain the areas outside of your room. Only complaint is the walls are thin you hear everything in this dorm. The outside that is practically inside is actually a really nice touch. Of course you won't understand that last sentence unless you actually come inside the dorm hall.
