I did not visit Uckfield Railway Station, not allowed to during Lockdown, but did visit Lilys Cafe, where Steve supplies excellent coffee and eatables, idea during walk of Town, for exercise

Small, clean, and extremely useful. No through services. Beginning & end of the line.

Close to town centre and shops plenty of parking. The only problem is the ticket office always seems to be closed so make sure you get your ticket from the machine, or get your tickets in advance or look up the opening hours for the office.

If you need to take a train from Uckfield then this is the place to be, it is an end of the line station but that could change, there are talks or re-opening the line that goes South but then again those talks have been going on for years. There is a small waiting room with bench seating, toilets with baby changing facilities, payphones that take coins & cards, there's a coffee kiosk but the waiting room is only open when the station is staffed & there is no ATM.

Commute today took a couple of minutes longer than usual, but was actually more comfortable and less stressful than usual; and what a workout. 5 stars.
